I am an Artistic Woodturner living near Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales. After turning traditional bowls and vases etc. for the past twelve years or so as a hobby, I am now working on textured and coloured hollow forms and vessels, mostly with delicate finials. I let the naturalness of the wood shine through in many of my pieces but see the plainer pieces of wood as blank canvases for texturing,carving and colouring. I am a member of the “Association of Woodturners of Great Britain” and have had my work published in their Forum Gallery and in their quarterly publication “Revolution”. I am always searching for new ideas and developing new techniques to enhance my work.
I hope you enjoy looking through the galleries. Some of the items are sold but if there are any you particularly like I would be pleased to turn a similar one as a commission.
